Zalando Lounge

I’ve been part of the mobile team at Zalando Lounge since July 2015 where I’ve been responsible for releasing the first version of the iOS app and further improvements and new features. Since then I’ve been a driver on key topics like architecture, design, documentation and onboarding new members to the team. I’ve also been doing technical interviews for Zalando wide iOS engineering positions.

Since March 2020 I’ve taken more of a leadership role in the team, first filling in for the vacant Engineering Manager position for 3 months, then continuing supporting the new Head of Engineering as the de-facto iOS Lead. In February 2021, I was ocially made the Engineering Lead as I took over the People Management responsibility of 6 directs, while also having the responsibility of Delivery Management of the team. In January 2022 I was promoted to being the Engineering Manager of the iOS team.
